Worship and Music

When we gather to worship, we are doing the work of the people in honoring our God.  As we gather to celebrate the Eucharist (Mass), we are called together to remember what Jesus did at the Last Supper when he gave us bread and wine to be his body and blood.  We also remember that Jesus gave us his body and his blood on the cross the next day. When we "do the work of the people," we are called upon to participate fully, both in the recited responses, as well as the musical segments.  Together as an entire community we are to raise our voices in song.  We have organ/piano accompaniment to help us in our singing, as well as cantors to help lead us.

Though everyone is expected to join in singing, there is a place for specialized groups to aid us in our worship.  For this purpose, All Saints Parish has two choirs: the Adult Choir and the Youth Choir.  We are always looking for new members for these groups.
